Driving through town and wanted a latte. Great price and had almond milk but no soy. Decent drink 3-4 out of 5 but I'm a coffee snob. Great decor, desserts look good, wish I had time to try the foods. Update: I will say this for the latte...an hour later I was WIDE AWAKE which is saying something because general lattes just have a little kick. If you need a jump start-this is the place!
I really appreciate this type of restaurant in the area; chef owned and comfort food with a gourmet twist. You need to be patient as they are still new, hiring and getting servers trained. This is normal for any new restaurant for the first year or so till they figure out their process. They have added on a dinner hour dining area with a bar in the back. Lunch is great and very affordable.
Our server Ethan is the reason I gave it five stars! On what what should have been a slow Monday afternoon, with only one person working the front of the restaurant, quickly turned in to two large parties and then our small party of two! Ethan kept his composure and a smile on his face even though he single-handedly had to take care of everyone in the room. He did a fantastic job! We decided on the Rubens and they were enjoyable although a little shy on the meat. The atmosphere was wonderful very relaxed. A great place to stop for lunch!
Ethan is a fine server! Good, strong coffee. Nice stop when traversing Pennsylvania. Worth the two mile excursion off of I-80.
