The cost is very high. I have not been there for a few years just for that reason. When Dr. Shields was running it the care and service was wonderful. It has gone downhill since then. I am not privy to what is going on there just that I have a much better vet clinic that I go to now.

I took my senior dog here for an examination for some hip pain she was experiencing. The staff offered me coffee while I waited for my appointment, were very kind to me and my dog, extremely professional, and were able to get her on an effective pain management regime. They followed up by telephone a few days after my appointment and the in-person follow-up 2 weeks afterwards was included in the original examination fee. I am extremely impressed with the quality of care for what was really a reasonable bill. I definitely recommend this facility!
If I could give this place a 0 star rating I would! My cat was horribly sick on a Saturday morning. They were the only placed listed with Saturday hours so I took my cat to this place for care that was badly needed. The girl at the desk agreed that my cat was very sick and needed seen right then and there or he could die (seeing the reason why he was sick). Her only reply was to "GO ELSE WHERE because we will NOT treat him here, today is by appointment only and you don't have an appointment"! She did however give numbers for places that were HOURS away such as Pittsburgh and State College. After finding numbers for other vets on my own while listening to my cat cry in pain I was able to find a different vet to save my cats life. They never listed Saturday as appointment only and was very willing to acknowledge what was wrong with my cat would kill him without being treated as soon as possible yet they could have cared less and told me to leave. Not to mention the HORRIBLE attitude that came from the girl towards me just "just showing up" while having an emergancy.
